We are a group Equal Education Campaign volunteers, school teachers, parents of students, community leaders, and other stakeholders in equal good quality education for all children. We do not have salaried people working for the campaign and all the activities are done by people voluntarily as per their time and capacity. We have diverse teams at the national, state, district and school level to coordinate the campaign activities for achieving synergy in the efforts of all.
The Equal Education Campaign is a people-powered movement committed to bridging the vast and unjust divide in educational quality between private and government schools in India. Our mission is to ensure that every child—regardless of socioeconomic background, caste, gender, or geography—has access to safe, inclusive, and high-quality education. We strive to transform government schools by advocating for essential infrastructure, trained and motivated teachers, modern pedagogy, and equitable learning environments. Through collective action with parents, educators, communities, and policymakers, we aim to dismantle systemic barriers and uphold education as a fundamental right, not a privilege.
We envision an India where every child, from every village and city, enters a classroom that nurtures curiosity, dignity, and excellence. An India where government schools stand as vibrant centres of learning, equipped with the same resources, care, and innovation as the best private institutions. Our vision is of a society where educational opportunity is not determined by birth, but by a shared national commitment to justice and human potential.
